 |  My aunt of 83 wanted to visit Madeira but has problems walking. We had booked 2 excursions from Belgium. Our first day to the east side was very good. Rita gave lots of explanations about the plants, the sights, living on the island ... She stopped each time my aunt wanted to take pictures and my aunt could understand her very well. Rita then booked us a good driver the next day who gave lots of useful information. On day 3 we had a wonderful tour on the west side with Rita. So we ended up booking Taxi Madeira for an extra trip to the Valley of the Nuns. Again a very nice driver. My aunt had a great vacation, greatly thanks to Rita and her efforts. We have no doubt that we will return to Madeira as it is such beautiful island and everyone is so friendly. | My wife and I visited Madeira in November. I forgot to order a taxi in advance. So in Lisboa airport in less than 2 hours before arrival I submitted a request on this website in a hurry, with little hope of success. The taxi driver was waiting for me in arrival zone! During our way to the hotel he told me that their island tours are very good. We took two eventually. It is worth it. The drivers know the places, the history, lots of stories, they know what and how to talk about. Unusual care of the clients and an outstanding attitude to them - this is how I characterize it. On our way back to the airport we were so pleasantly talking with the driver, that I virtually forgot to pay. The guy kindly reminded me about it, I was so embarrassed, although we both laughed at it. Thank you Paulo, thank you others! I wish we could be back one day there!.. | Paul et Rita sont les seuls taxis auxquels j'ai recours depuis plus d'un an pour mes trajets maison-aeroport. Rita repond tres rapidement aux emails. | We visited Madeira twice in 2014. On each occasion we used the services of Rita and Paul DeJesus exclusively. This included transportation to and from the airport, several daily tours and transportation between hotels on different parts of the island. On one occasion we were met at our cruise ship and Rita took us on a full day to parts of the island we had not visited before. We have been visiting Madeira since 1975 (over 10 trips) and still the DeJesus' found new places for us to see. The restaurants that they recommended were excellent for traditional Madeira cuisine. They communicate well, always prompt, excellent vehicles and safe drivers. Their rates are reasonable with no surprises. They know the island and its people well. | I have used Paul for several years now and now look upon him as a friend who is reliable, punctual and a careful drirver. From time to time he does juggle with pieces of paper though to check my multi journeys. but Rita keeps him on his toes and it all comes to pass as planned and she always replies to my emails quickly.
